"the edge; there is no honest way to explain it
because the only people who really know where it is,
are the ones who have gone over."

There's something extraordinarily interesting about Hunter S. Thompson,
I haven't come across a single soul that has ever caught my eye the way this man does. I am completely attracted to his brain and everything that goes through it. I never thought it possible to have the "hots" for someone's brain, but I've found it completely possible. He's an ill-mannered, un-groomed, careless, junkie journalist. Yet he's my biggest influence. If there were a way made possible to completely read someone's brain, not just books, autobiographies and biographies; but actually climb inside one's brain and just take a visit, I'd be the first to take in the new invention, without a doubt; with this man here. He gives me hope in humanity, when no one else will ever be able to. I've never felt more in common with someone in my entire life. The more I read of him, the more I research about him; I guess in other terms, stalk him, the more I intrigued I become.

Obsession is an ugly, ugly thing. I don't claim to be obsessed, more less just inspired to the fullest extent of one being inspired.

He's taught me something about life, about people, about you, about myself. The real key to being creative, to being original, to being yourself; is finding a way to hide your sources.

"america...just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen
with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing
anybody else in the world who tried to make us uncomfortable."
